Southern Dixie Cat Club – CFA club in Virginia (Region 7) focusing on allbreed shows in VA/NC. Has hosted CFA shows in Richmond area in past
National Capital Cat Show – A large annual CFA cat show held in the D.C./Northern Virginia area
Fancy Cats Rescue Team – Non-profit rescue in Northern VA that saves cats from local shelters and operates adoption centers (in PetSmart/Petco stores). Very active foster network and one of the largest cat rescues in VA.
Richmond SPCA (Feline Programs) – The Richmond SPCA runs a large no-kill shelter and adoption center, with an entire “Kitty City” dedicated to free-roaming cats. They also offer low-cost spay/neuter for community cats in the region.
